Join us at 10:30 am in the Park!
Begun years ago, Church in the Park happens this Sunday at Holly Park. We will have our large white canopy set up near the community center within a very short walk from any parking spot. Our service will begin at 10:30 am and we will have a hot dog & burger fry following. Bring food to share!
This year we welcome back to our congregation Pastor Dwight Hires. He will be sharing from Mark 16 - Christ's resurrection and commission. You can be sure he will also report on his work in Mexico.
Invite family and friends to attend with you and plan on a wonderful time together in worship and fellowship!

Financial Update thru 8/21
Monthly Budget Goal: $20,417
Income thru 8/21 - $9,347
A Call to Prayer: For whatever reason the giving during August has been low. During the rest of this year, our congregation has supported our church well -for this we give thanks! At this time we do not have a large reserve that can handle a significant drop in giving, therefore we ask for your prayers and your generous gifts to meet this need.
We will receive an offering at our service in the park from those prepared to give.

Have You Signed Up?
We are organizing our fall Growth Groups. These groups will commit to meet together for about 12 weeks, enjoy several meals together, study God's word, pray for one another and encourage each other in their spiritual growth - basically we will follow the pattern of the New Testament Church!
For the next several weeks you can sign up to participate. You can indicate your preference about which day or time of day would work best for you. We will begin in the second week in September exploring the growth of the early church in Acts. The theme of our study is "Uncontainable: the Church Explodes." Sign up this Sunday!

Expansion Update:
Good News!!!
The city has approved our expansion plans and has not required the fire suppression sprinkler system at this time. This saves us a great amount of money for our current project. We will need to add this in future expansions however.
The Expansion/Construction team will meet this Sunday evening at 6:30 pm.

It's All About Truth in Relationships!
The Student Ministry values relationship. Ministry Is Truth in Relationship. We grow more like Jesus in relationship especially when that relationship values truth.
This school year we will be developing those relationships in Growth Groups both in the adult and student growth groups. The Student Sunday AM Growth Groups will be meeting during second service starting the second week of September. For more information please contact Pastor Neil.
